Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned full stack developer to lead our e-commerce and mobile platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify, React Native, and headless frontends. They will be responsible for driving technical solutions, leading a team of developers, and ensuring timely delivery and code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 4 members in development, ensuring timely delivery, code quality, and performance.
  • Translate product and business needs into well-architected technical solutions.
  • Drive sprint planning, task allocation, and daily team activities.
  • Oversight of development on Shopify Plus, including custom theme development using Liquid, Shopify CLI, and js implementations.
  • Optimize site performance, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and Lighthouse scores.
  • Supervise development on our React Native mobile app, ensuring consistency, scalability, and quality across iOS and Android.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines across web and mobile.
  • Ensure smooth deployment, rollback, and version control.
  • Lead the integration of 3rd-party APIs (CRM, payment, analytics, logistics).
  • Regularly report progress, blockers, and opportunities to senior management.
  • Recommend architectural and tooling improvements to improve developer experience.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of hands-on development experience, with 4+ years on Shopify Plus.
  • Proven experience in leading small development teams.
  • Proficiency in: Shopify (Liquid, js, ThemeKit, Shopify CLI, metafields), Headless frontends (React.js, Next.js), React Native for cross-platform mobile apps, REST/GraphQL APIs, CI/CD tools, Git, and performance optimization.
  • Sound understanding of agile/scrum processes and task management tools.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Bitbucket/GitHub, Vercel, and Firebase.
  • Working knowledge of analytics tools (GA4, GTM), and push notifications.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A Masters degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, web technologies, or e-commerce is a plus.
