About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Student Counsellor to join our team in a dynamic environment. As a Student Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in empowering students to make informed decisions about their university applications.

At our organization, we strive to provide impartial, free content and advice to help students navigate the complex world of education. Our innovative digital platform has already gained significant traction, with over one million visitors and thousands of new users in the last six months.

You will work closely with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them to shortlist universities based on course, rankings, specialization, location preference, and financial ability. Your exceptional communication and presentation skills will enable you to provide accurate and clear information, as well as answer all inquiries from students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prior experience in shortlisting universities based on course, rankings, specialization, location preference, and financial ability of the student/parent is highly desirable.
  • Passion for helping students and giving them impartial and honest advice on studying abroad is essential.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Mastery of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and good typing skills is necessary.
  • Prior experience in counseling students, preferably from the Study abroad sector, is a must.
  • Maintaining good record-keeping at all times in our CRM system is essential.
  • Giving talks/presentations on behalf of the company in webinars/seminars and virtual counseling to students via Zoom and Google meet is also required.
  • Providing students with accurate and clear information as well as answering all inquiries from students is crucial.
  • A willingness to work flexibly and to adjust working hours to suit the needs of our organization is expected.
