Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable AWS infrastructure and services within a managed service environment.
  • Manage deployments in QA/Stage/Production environments, engaging stakeholders as required, and adhering to SLAs.
  • Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters through automation using Terraform.
  • Institute infrastructure as code, security, and process automation, and automate routine maintenance tasks.
  • Perform security and vulnerability patching.
  • Create and deliver knowledge-sharing presentations and documentation.
  • Learn on the job and explore new technologies with little supervision.
  • Participate in war-room/critical outage calls and ensure the RCA process is implemented.
  • Cross-location team management, including skill development, growth path, performance evaluation, and attrition management.
  • Customer management for daily calls, weekly/monthly status reporting, and lead calls with cross-functional teams.
  • Delivery management to ensure well-defined SLAs and adherence using delivery tracking tools - JIRA/Confluence.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience working on AWS, Kubernetes Orchestration, and EKS.
  • 6+ years of production environment experience.
  • Experience with infrastructure-automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Linux environment experience with at least one scripting language.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience using Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD.
  • Application Performance Monitoring tool experience (Datadog, Instana, Grafana, Splunk, PagerDuty, Pingdom, and Cloud Watch).
  • Good understanding of DevOps and Cloud Operation Process, Agile Release Processes, and L2/L3 Ticketing process.
  • Source control and management tools experience (Git).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of AI tools and Savant with Amazon SageMaker Services.
