Senior Tally Developer Job Description

Tally developers design, develop and maintain software applications to manage business operations. This role involves working with the Tally ERP system to create customized solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing Tally modules, ensuring seamless integration and functionality, implementing new features and enhancements in Tally, modifying existing Tally modules to improve functionality and user experience, integrating Tally ERP with other software systems and third-party applications, developing and maintaining data import/export utilities to and from Tally, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization between Tally and other systems, providing technical support to users regarding Tally issues and queries, troubleshooting and resolving any Tally-related technical problems, regularly updating and maintaining Tally applications to align with the latest updates and patches, preparing detailed documentation of Tally customizations and integrations, creating user manuals and training materials for end-users, documenting technical specifications and development processes, collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions, and participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 80% or above in all academics.
  • 3+ years of experience in Tally ERP development and customization.
  • Proficiency in Tally Definition Language (TDL).
  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP 9 and Tally Prime.
  • Familiarity with Tally integration using APIs.
