Senior Cost Estimator Position

The role of Senior Quantity Surveyor plays a pivotal part in the project's cost estimation process. The key responsibilities include assessing quantities, pricing materials and labor costs, and ensuring accurate alignment with project specifications.

This involves overseeing the quantity surveying process for projects and ensuring that all material costs are accurately assessed. Additionally, reviewing and validating cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads is crucial to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Collaboration with procurement, engineering, and project management teams is vital to gather necessary data for cost estimation. Moreover, mentoring junior quantity surveyors to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of their work is essential.

A Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Engineering, or related fields is required along with 7+ years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically focusing on large-scale projects. Proficiency in quantity surveying and estimation software is also a must. Furthermore, strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and team management skills, are highly valued in this position.
