Job Title

This role is perfect for a skilled professional who can develop and manage data pipelines to ingest structured and unstructured data from various sources into Azure Data Explorer (ADX). The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Ingestion: Developing and managing data pipelines to ingest data into ADX.
  • Querying and Analysis: Writing complex queries using the Kusto Query Language (KQL) to perform data analysis and generate insights.
  • Dashboarding: Creating dashboards and visualizations to present data to stakeholders.
  • Performance Optimization: Tuning queries and data schema to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
  • Integration: Integrating ADX with other Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, and Power BI.
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
  • Kusto Query Language (KQL): Expertise in writing complex KQL queries.
  • Azure Data Explorer: Hands-on experience with the ADX platform.
  • Data Engineering: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure services related to data, analytics, and messaging.
  • Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language for automation and data manipulation.
