Geotechnical Engineering Opportunity

A seasoned Geotechnical Engineer is needed to contribute to our engineering team in Bengaluru. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and analyzing geotechnical investigations, borehole data, and foundation recommendations to support structural and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed scope of work for field/lab testing agencies: borehole number, depth, test types as per codes.
  • Coordinate with site teams to resolve technical queries and suggest changes during execution.
  • Review and summarize borehole data to assist design and foundation decisions.
  • Prepare comprehensive Geotechnical Interpretation Reports including:
  • Bearing capacity assessments
  • Pile capacity analysis by diameter and depth
  • Soil spring constants calculation
  • Liquefaction risk evaluation
  • Soil-structure interaction analysis
  • Secure approval of reports from authorities and stakeholders.
  • Review site tests like pile load tests and plate load tests.
  • Support pre-project engineering and represent the firm in technical meetings.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in geotechnical investigation/reporting.
  • Strong civil engineering fundamentals and project coordination skills.
  • Proficient in creating design summaries and technical documentation.
  • Effective communicator and team player.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with LPILE, WALLAP, PLAXIS, or equivalent geotechnical software.
  • Experience with ground anchoring and improvement techniques.
  • Prior experience with infrastructure or structural projects.
