Research Assistant

As a research assistant, you will be responsible for conducting individual and collaborative research projects. You will lead the implementation and execution of the project.
- Delivering results of research and contributing to publishing of results in high-quality peer-reviewed academic literature.
- Project management: e.g., scheduling and meeting project milestones; participating in regular discussions with other academic partners.
- Disseminating research findings as appropriate to the discipline.
You will also participate regularly in group meetings, prepare and deliver presentations to the project team, internal and external stakeholders or funders.
Additionally, you will assist with the supervision of graduate students and undergraduate project students and the assessment of student knowledge.
Continuous update of knowledge and understanding in the field or specialism is required to inform research activity.
The ideal candidate will identify sources of funding and provide assistance with preparing bids to secure funds for research.
