Senior AI Specialist

Job Overview:

As a senior AI specialist, you will be responsible for designing and architecting industrial-grade AI systems that transform complex data into actionable insights. Your work will focus on creating end-to-end systems that prevent accidents, ensure compliance, and save lives at Fortune-500 scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design multimodal knowledge architecture over various data sources, including PDFs, CAD/vector drawings, incident reports, and regulations.
  • Implement hybrid retrieval models with reranking, targeting high accuracy and traceable citations.
  • Build domain embeddings for bilingual technical terminology and craft routing/prompting for audit-ready outputs.
  • Ingest/normalize heterogeneous data sources and ship large-scale document ingestion with schema validation and temporal versioning.
  • Integrate external APIs and orchestrate ensemble decisioning with strict service level agreements.
  • Operate on cloud infrastructure and build explanation layers for human-in-the-loop feedback.

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience building production AI/ML or search systems, with 3+ enterprise deployments end-to-end.
  • Expertise in Python 3.11+, SQL, and strong systems thinking and data modeling.
  • Experience with RAG at scale, including vector databases, BM25, rerankers, prompt/routing strategies, and MLOps/SRE concepts.
