We are seeking a talented Solutions Engineer who is passionate about data and analytics applications at scale. As a member of our Data and Analytics practice team, you will work closely with experienced technology consultants to design and implement awesome architectures that meet the needs of our largest and fastest-growing customers.

As a Solutions Architect with Searce, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Create solution architectures for Data Engineering and Analytics projects using Google Native products like Pub/Sub, DataFlow, Cloud Functions, Google BigQuery, and Looker
  • Develop high-performance, scalable architecture presentations and generate Statements of Work (SOW) for customer Data Engineering and Analytics Projects
  • Promote and pre-sales of Data Engineering projects involving IoT, Streaming Data, Unstructured Data, Structured Data, and various other data sources
  • Leverage your technical expertise to lead discussions on Analytics architecture and drive the team's technical direction
  • Stay up-to-date with new architectures and newer Google products
  • Serve as a Searce Cloud evangelist, educating customers of all sizes on the value proposition of various services and benefits offered by Searce and partner OEMs
  • Author or contribute to Searce's customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, and proof of concepts
  • In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of cloud platform products and services
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Cloud solutions architect community

About You

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A result-oriented mindset with a passion for solving complex customer problems and effectively articulating technical challenges and solutions
  • 3-7 years of experience in the Data & Analytics domain, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in GCP Solutions designing, including Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Migration, Data Modelling, Big Data Technologies, and more
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations
  • A consultative approach to solving customer business challenges, with a track record of successfully overcoming technical and security objections
  • Must be certified on AWS or GCP Cloud products (Solutions Architect preferred)
