Job Opportunity: English and Environmental Studies Teacher

As an esteemed educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in the subject of English and Environmental Studies. Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date knowledge of curriculum and subject matter.
  • Craft and utilize materials and the classroom environment to cater to diverse learning styles, promoting student motivation and academic growth.
  • Maintain records of curriculum and year plans, attendance, teaching resources, assessment plans, and share them as needed.
  • Implement destinations, milestones, and related strategies, lesson plans, worksheets, class and home assignments, driving student progress and achievement.
  • Design and administer assessments, creating weekly, unit, term, and annual plans for evaluation and feedback according to defined criteria.
  • Provide meaningful, accurate feedback to students, both qualitative and quantitative, aligning with School Policy.
  • Ensure adherence to Kunskapsskolan policies, procedures, and codes of conduct at all times.
  • Participate in Appraisal and Professional development (PD), enhancing your skills and expertise.
  • Contribute to co-curricular events, staff meetings, and extra-curricular programs, promoting teamwork and collaborative leadership.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject, accompanied by a B.Ed. qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in education.
  • Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of curriculum areas, research, and educational trends in Education, ensuring your instruction is informed and effective.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
