Interior Designer

Our company is seeking a talented and skilled Interior Designer to join our team. This is a full-time role that involves creating, reading, and modifying detailed blueprints, layouts, and 3D models using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related design software.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing interior spaces that blend imagination with precision. They will be responsible for developing high-quality technical drawings and design documentation to support accurate execution by contractors and vendors.

We are looking for someone who can translate client requirements into visual concepts that clearly communicate the design intent and functionality. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining organized design files and ensuring all documentation is updated throughout the project lifecycle.

. The Interior Designer will work closely with contractors, architects, consultants, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of all design elements.

. They will monitor project progress and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns.

. The Interior Designer will ensure project delivery meets agreed-upon quality standards, deadlines, and client expectations.

. They will source cost-effective yet high-quality products that align with project aesthetics, durability, and budget requirements.

. The Interior Designer will prepare material boards and samples for client approval before procurement.

. They will ensure all design solutions adhere to applicable building codes, fire safety regulations, and accessibility guidelines.

. The Interior Designer will stay updated with industry trends, sustainability practices, and new materials/technologies for continuous improvement.

. Conduct quality checks during project execution to ensure compliance with approved designs and standards.

. Document compliance measures and provide guidance to contractors and clients on regulatory aspects.

. Develop and present creative design concepts, mood boards, 3D visualizations, and layouts tailored to client requirements.

. Clearly communicate the design intent and highlight functional, aesthetic, and budgetary considerations.

. Incorporate client feedback systematically and refine proposals to achieve design alignment and satisfaction.

. Facilitate approval processes by providing professional and persuasive presentations to clients and stakeholders.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Civil Engineering / Industrial Design (Master's preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and related design visualization software.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in architectural/interior design, project coordination, or related field.
  • Proven track record in preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and 3D models.
