Job Opportunity

  • Auditing and financial review specialist sought to conduct comprehensive evaluations across multiple entities, ensuring effective planning, execution, and coordination with external experts.
  • Financial reviews of organization-supported projects will be conducted independently, guaranteeing proper fund utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Active involvement in auditing and financial monitoring reviews throughout the year.
  2. Planning, sampling, attending meetings, and finalizing reports for internal audits, including coordination with external auditors.
  3. Developing annual budgets and audit scopes for all engagements.
  4. Identifying areas of concern and ensuring funds are utilized as sanctioned.
  5. Guiding teams and providing practical solutions to encountered issues.
  6. Streamlining processes and implementing SOPs as required.
  7. Rigorous follow-up with stakeholders for data submission and formal closure of open audit paras with external auditors.
  8. Maintaining real-time MIS for open audit paras and sharing data with stakeholders regularly.
  9. Continuous review of IT applications and systems used across organizations.
  10. Interpreting statutory and regulatory changes and defining policies to be implemented.
  11. Preparing reports and presentations for management as needed.
  12. Maintaining professional relationships with external auditors and agencies.

Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 8-10 years' experience in internal/statutory auditing is required.
  • Experience/knowledge of the social sector is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills are necessary.
  • Thorough knowledge of statutory and internal auditing is required.
  • In-depth understanding of auditing and accounting standards is necessary.
  • Dedicated individual adhering to principles, values, and confidentiality is required.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team is necessary.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required are essential.
