Key to success lies in the hands of a seasoned Backend Engineer who can deliver on complex backend services using TypeScript/Node.js.

The role involves building and extending backend services, writing transactional business logic for financial flows, designing and maintaining PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and queries. Additionally, integrating with third-party APIs securely is a must.

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in financial services.
  • Strong TypeScript/Node.js skills, productive from day one.
  • Hands-on with AWS Lambda and serverless patterns.
  • PostgreSQL experience, schema design, performance tuning, real-world queries.
  • Solid understanding of building secure, documented REST APIs.

Beyond technical skills, effective communication and ability to work independently are essential. It would be beneficial to have experience with regulated systems, AWS Cognito, Terraform/IaC, and polyglot environments.
