Empowering Innovation with Tarana Wireless Expertise

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing expertise in Tarana Wireless product architecture and network components.

You will design, execute, and review Network layer functional and system tests for various Tarana product lines, releasing results on each release.

Facilitating continuous evolution of tests based on features and issues is also a critical aspect of this role, driving automation of QA-owned tests.

You will own regression test areas, ensuring product quality despite code changes.

In addition, you will contribute to the development of tools enhancing test efficiency and management.

Analyze issues by debugging test scripts written in Shell, Perl, or Python.

Identify defects, own them through the resolution and verification cycle, and ensure effective project and testing status communication with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or closely related disciplines.
  • 4-10 years of QA experience.
  • Test Engineering Knowledge: Prepare test strategies/plans, test execution, test reviews, and debugging customer issues.
  • Experience in network protocols and features (Routing, Switching, IPv4/v6, DHCP, DNS, TCP/UDP, Policing, Shaping, AQM, CoDel, QoS).
  • Experience in networking tools (IPerf, Xena, TRex, IXIA, VIAVI JDSU).
  • Experience in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Experience in test automation using Python.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Aptitude to learn new technology quickly and adapt to new feature testing/new assignments faster.
  • Good understanding of QA processes and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent debugging/analytical skills with a focus on solving problems.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
