Tata Consultancy Services is a global leader in the technology arena, and we are looking for a skilled IBM MQ Admin to join our team. The role involves administering Websphere MQ v7.x, 8.x, and 9.x, as well as building non-production and production queues as required by clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of distributed queuing and clustering, as well as experience with MQSC commands and remote MQ administration. Familiarity with Linux and Solaris is also required, as well as knowledge of ITIL components such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
The candidate should also have experience with MQ utilities like qload, runmqdlq, saveqmgr, and tools like MQ explorer and Rfhutil. Knowledge of SSL certificates and MQ migrations is also essential. The successful candidate will be able to support application teams with testing and deployments.
Responsibilities of the role include L2 support activities on IBM MQ, implementing client requests, migrating to latest environments, and maintaining production environments with latest ifixes and fixpacks.
