Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Artificial Intelligence Engineer to play a key role in developing innovative AI-native software that enhances creativity and productivity for teams and enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build AI-enabled products that leverage the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) and other recent developments in foundation models.
  • Develop high-performance Search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Data indexing, ranking, and query processing.
  • Build evaluation frameworks for agent, RAG, and LLM performance: We adopt a polyglot approach to working with LLMs, with a strong preference for getting workloads working on open-source models.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Software Engineering or end-to-end Data Science, with proficiency in Python and data-oriented algorithms.
  • Strong background in either distributed data systems or machine learning engineering, with experience with distributed computing frameworks like Ray being a plus.
  • Proven ability to experiment with new techniques and deliver robust production code, with a focus on Python, LlamaIndex, LangChain, Ray, Postgres, Iceberg, Google Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes/Helm.
  • Recent demonstrated experience in building agents, training and evaluating emerging foundation LLMs, building RAG systems, and planet-scale information retrieval systems, or working with vector databases.
