Hello,

Welcome to our Data Expert position where we are looking for an experienced professional to work with SAP HANA database.

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled individual who has good understanding of HANA system architecture and can assist in installation, administration, and troubleshooting of the system.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience in Linux operating system and knowledge on HANA backup maintenance using backint in Hana Studio.
  • We also require candidates to have experience in stopping and starting the HANA Database Single and Multi-tenant during Maintenance window, installing Hana 2.0 MDC end to end, and performing DB Client upgrade.
  • A strong background in HANA Version upgrade from Hana 1.0 to Hana 2.0, Hana Monitoring using Hana Studio by acting on Alerts, applying licenses for HANA systems, and audit log management is essential.
  • Responsibilities will include creation of users, giving roles to that users, troubleshooting backup, memory, CPU utilization and performance issues, parameter configuration changes in HANA, and performing backup recovery and point in time recovery for both MDC and Non-MDC systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a team player who can perform installation, patching and upgrade activities, monitor performance, manage backups, and ensure high availability of the systems including disaster recovery setup.

Candidates must have technical expertise and support in optimizing System Operation/ System Architecture and provide solutions to problems and increase efficiency.

Also required are planning, setup and implementation of technical migration projects and improvement of product and processes.

Key qualifications include a degree in computer science or IT training or career changer with IT affinity and experience.
