Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement an annual audit plan aligned with the company's strategic objectives
  2. Manage audit assignments, review workpapers, and audit reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  3. Promote innovative audit methodologies, leveraging technology to enhance risk coverage and controls
  4. Communicate audit findings effectively and ensure implementation of recommendations
  5. Collaborate with the holding company and external auditors on report submission and coordination
  6. Participate in policy reviews and process implementations
  7. Conduct audits and reviews at branches and regional offices, providing training to existing teams

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 15-20 years of experience in internal audit, preferably 4-5 years in retail financial services
  • Knowledge of auditing policies, standards, and procedures
  • Familiarity with RBI and banking regulations
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and supervise/train employees
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Experience with IT control environments and technology usage in audit procedures
  • Able to motivate others and promote teamwork
