Telecom Testing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Telecom Testing Specialist to ensure the reliability of our telecom platforms through manual and automation testing. You will validate the performance, scalability, and compliance of high-availability systems across diverse environments.

  • Design and execute manual test cases for telecom workflows (order management, subscriber provisioning, billing).
  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG/JUnit.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing across OSS/BSS modules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
  • Validate system performance under load using JMeter or LoadRunner (preferred).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Manual Testing: Test case design, telecom workflows, defect tracking.
  • Automation Testing: Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Maven.
  • Telecom Domain: OSS/BSS systems, CRM, billing, provisioning.
  • Agile Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Scrum.
  • CI/CD & Version Control: Jenkins, Git, GitLab.
  • Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics.
  • 4+ years of QA experience with manual and automation testing.
  • Expertise in Java + Selenium automation frameworks.

  • Experience with OSS/BSS platforms (e.g., Amdocs, Ericsson, Netcracker).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Understanding of network provisioning flows, SIM activation, and real-time charging systems.
  • Certifications in ISTQB, Telecom QA, or Automation Tools.
