About this role:

We're looking for a sound designer to create, edit, and mix relevant sound effects and music tracks for our academic video lectures.

The ideal candidate will have primary proficiency in Logic Pro, Ableton Live or similar DAWs, and experience in syncing sound for educational or documentary content.

Key responsibilities include adding relevant SFX to animations, experiments, and props usage, cleaning up dialogue/narration audio, syncing audio with animations and edits, managing music libraries and sound templates, and collaborating with video editors, operations, and academics to synchronise music and effects with visuals.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have solid understanding of AI tools and platforms, with the ability to use them for improving productivity and creativity, and experience in composing relevant, short, catchy, non-intrusive background tracks for videos.

A strong skill set in mixing and mastering voiceovers with music/SFX to ensure clarity and professional sound quality is essential, as well as familiarity with royalty-free music libraries and copyright standards.
