Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide thought leadership and create innovative solutions to position our customers for success in the future.
  • To bring an application perspective to the infrastructure organization and provide approaches to optimizing mainframe applications for cost and product selection.
  • To assist in ensuring that the tools and process automation for developers are consistent with modern tools.
  • To create designs based on abstract concepts and existing manual activities.
  • To identify, architect, design, and implement optimization methods to meet program requirements.
  • To integrate solutions with standard management tools.
  • To perform flow and software modification after the solution has been brought into production.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Application and Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Cobol & DB2 Development Skills.
  • Ability to Migrate Code and/or Data from z/OS to Linux.
  • Familiarity with Mainframe Job Schedulers such as BMC-Control/M, CA-7, etc.
  • Excellent Understanding of DXC ITSM/ITIL Framework and Processes.
  • Proficient Knowledge of Workflow Tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
