Backend Software Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer with expertise in GraphQL backend development and a proven track record of building robust, scalable APIs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with frameworks such as Apollo Graph or WunderGraph, and proficiency in Nest.js.

Key Responsibilities

  • API Design and Development: Design and develop high-performance backend services using GraphQL, implement and manage GraphQL solutions, and build server-side applications with Nest.js.
  • Cloud Architecture: Develop and deploy serverless functions on Azure, leveraging services like Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Cosmos DB, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability of all backend services.
  • Collaboration and Optimization: Collaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts, ensure seamless integration, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and optimize application performance as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Core Expertise: 3+ years of professional experience in GraphQL backend development.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in GraphQL, hands-on experience with a GraphQL framework, and proven experience with Nest.js.
  • Cloud and Database Management: Experience with Azure serverless technologies (Azure Functions, Storage, Cosmos DB), and familiarity with database management and data modeling for a GraphQL backend.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other cloud platforms, knowledge of microservices architecture, and proficiency in a programming language such as TypeScript or JavaScript.
