Electrical Maintenance Manager
Role Summary:The Electrical Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of electrical systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability in operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement daily maintenance plans to optimize system performance.
- Monitor and control preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, applying knowledge of electrical safety protocols.
- Conduct VED analysis of spare parts and maintain an inventory based on needs assessments.
- Analyze asset history data to inform strategies for extending equipment lifespan.
- Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including turbines, diesel generators, air compressors, HVAC systems, STP, ETP, industrial water supply, incinerators, chillers, transformers, switchgears, and VFDs.
- Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and monitor adherence.
- Document and report maintenance activities, including spares management and utility consumption reporting.
- Supervise equipment installation and commissioning, coordinating with procurement and quality teams as needed.
- Collaborate with process managers to ensure timely support or undertake preventive actions.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment, logic controls, and mechanical failures.
- Experience in handling and resolving electrical and mechanical issues.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical safety protocols.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems related to energy consumption and efficiency.
