Enhancing Logistics Processes through SAP Expertise

This role requires an accomplished professional to bolster the effectiveness of logistics operations. Proficiency in utilizing and enhancing Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) is essential, as well as knowledge in customizing the standard Transportation Management (TM) user interface.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise in BOPF framework for TM module integration.
  • Implement enhancements to POWL queries and result lists, ensuring seamless data management.
  • Utilize ABAP coding skills to extract, modify, and create data within the TM module through BOPF models.
  • Apply experience with FPM extensibilities or enhancements to WD4A in the TM module.
  • Regularly utilize ABAP coding skills.
  • Maintain proficiency in moving data between business objects and handling dependent objects in both backend and UI.
  • Ensure successful integration of TM with GTS and EM by developing all enhancements in the EM environment.
  • Work collaboratively with PI team members to enhance standard services with additional data and map standard fields to service enhancements.
  • Develop hands-on experience integrating REST and SOAP APIs into TM.
  • Maintain S/4 HANA implementation experience and design, develop ABAP programs in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments.
  • Perform regular code reviews, unit testing, and technical specification reviews.
  • Adhere to clean core frameworks and development methodologies.
  • Foster expertise in functional domains like Finance and OTC.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Stay proficient in CDS views, OData, and RAP technologies.
  • Develop extensive expertise in ABAP programming and hand-on development skills.
  • Master various screen programming technologies including Module Pool Programming, RF Screen Programming, and Web Dynpro.
  • Stay updated on enhancement technologies such as BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Frameworks, and Interface Technologies including ALE/IDOC, BAPIs, and Webservices.
  • Stay knowledgeable in forms technologies like Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of TM functionalities including Master Data & CIF, Order Management, Planning, Load Optimization, Freight Order Management, Booking Order Management, Intermodal and Multimodal scenarios, Carrier Selection & Optimization, Tendering, Freight & Forwarding Settlement, TM Conditions, and BRF+.
  • Maintain expertise in integrating SAP eWM and SAP EM with SAP TM.
  • Additional requirement: SAP S/4 HANA Embedded TM.
