Job Title: IT Support Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled IT support specialist to join our team.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  2. Troubleshoot system and network issues, diagnosing and resolving hardware/software faults.
  3. Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  4. Manage software installation, updates, and licensing compliance.
  5. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure smooth operations.
  6. Assist with setting up new user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.
  7. Perform routine system maintenance, data backups, and security checks.
  8. Coordinate with vendors for IT equipment procurement, repairs, or replacements.
  9. Maintain IT documentation, inventory, and asset management records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Basic knowledge of software applications (MS Office, Antivirus, etc.).
  • Familiarity with LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
