Role Responsibilities

The Assistant Fashion Designer will be responsible for assisting in the design process, creating and developing new patterns, selecting fabrics, and helping with fittings. Daily tasks include collaborating with team members, participating in design meetings, and ensuring the production of high-quality garments.

  • Create and develop new patterns for clothing items
  • Select fabrics that meet our standards
  • Assist with fittings and ensure proper fit
  • Collaborate with embroidery team to ensure designs meet our standards
Requirements
  • Fashion Design and Textiles knowledge
  • Experience with Embroidery and Fitting
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team efforts
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred
  • Prior experience in fashion design, especially in traditional Indian wear, is a plus
  • Knowledge of handling E-commerce, photoshoots etc.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop etc.
