Lead Designer Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Designer to drive our design vision and lead a team of designers. As the driving force behind our creative standard, you will guide your team in thinking beyond the obvious and executing design projects that exceed client expectations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years leading or directing design projects. They possess a strong portfolio that demonstrates branding, social media, and campaign work, as well as exceptional conceptual thinking, attention to detail, and leadership skills.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers through ideation, design direction, and execution.
  • Provide thought starters, feedback, and creative pushes that challenge and sharpen design outcomes.
  • Oversee all design deliverables for branding and social media accounts, ensuring consistency, originality, and quality.
  • Collaborate with teams to bring bold brand stories to life visually.
  • Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and cultural shifts - ensuring our work is fresh and relevant.
  • Balance leadership with hands-on design when needed to set the bar.
