About this Role

  • We are looking for a talented and experienced frontend developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evolving an existing front-end web application using Micro-frontend architecture and Angular.
  • Developing and extending the backbone of a front-end implementation, building reusable components and features.
  • Ensuring the ability of the front-end web application to be easily maintained, scaled, and deployed by multiple teams working parallelly and independently.
  • Collaborating with the broader development team and architects on the front-end architecture application implementation.
  • Working closely with UI/UX designer teams and leading the implementation of new initiatives, supporting the architecture decision and vision.

  • Adhering to coding standards and architecture guidelines.
  • Actively participating in documentation creation and code reviews.
  • Continuing research and experimenting with various technologies, providing valuable feedback and recommendations.
  • Advocating for improvements at the architecture level and the general product experience, quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/Software Development.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Software Development/Engineering.
  • 4+ years' experience with the Angular framework (5.x and up).

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Information Technology, with expertise in Angular 12 and above.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
  • Excellent understanding of AJAX and JavaScript DOM manipulation techniques.
  • Experience working with large, distributed, multi-tier enterprise applications is a plus.
  • Knowledge of source code control systems such as Git and experience with JavaScript build tools like Grunt or Gulp are beneficial.
  • Understanding of modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks like React and Vue is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g. Jasmine or Cypress) and test runner frameworks (e.g. Karma) is necessary.
  • Strong background in Object-Oriented design, programming, and frameworks is essential.
  • Working knowledge of .NET/Core is a plus, as well as experience in RESTful web services.
  • Experience with Postman/Swagger and related tools is beneficial.
  • Background in TDD, ATDD, BDD, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline concepts is a plus.
