Job Title: University Video Content Producer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Content Producer to join our team at the university. As a key member of our video production unit, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that showcases the university's academic programs, research initiatives, and campus life.

About the Role:

• Create engaging video content for various university audiences, including students, faculty, staff, and alumni;
• Develop and implement video production strategies to align with university goals and objectives;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and academic departments, to produce high-quality video content;
• Edit and finalize video projects using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer;
• Mentor and guide student interns and junior creatives to develop their skills and knowledge in video production;
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and evolving best practices in video production.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a video editor in industries such as film, television, or advertising;
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer;
• Strong understanding of video production workflows, including shooting, lighting, and audio;
• Exceptional storytelling skills with a portfolio showcasing diverse editing projects;
• Ability to work collaboratively and creatively in high-paced environments;
• Clear communication skills for both team collaboration and student mentorship;
• Experience with motion graphics and VFX tools like Adobe After Effects;
• Knowledge of color grading techniques and software such as DaVinci Resolve;
• Prior experience mentoring or teaching in academic or professional settings;
