Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our Oracle database, ensuring smooth functioning and optimal performance.

  • Database Administration: Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Database Security: Implement and maintain robust database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance by identifying bottlenecks, tuning SQL queries, and configuring database parameters.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex database issues, including performance problems, data corruption, and system failures.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN to ensure business continuity and minimize data loss.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with a strong foundation in database concepts and administration. Experience with Oracle database administration is preferred but not required.
