Assistant Treasury Manager Job Description

Experienced professionals in treasury and banking activities are sought after to assume the role of Assistant Treasury Manager. The position requires a strong background in financial and cash management principles, coupled with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Management: Daily cash management tasks include monitoring cash balances, bank reporting, and maintaining treasury dashboards.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Detailed cash flow forecasts are prepared, and variance analysis is conducted between projected and actual cash flow statements.
  • Bank Relationship Management: The organization's bank relationships and overall liquidity are monitored and managed.
  • Debt Schedule Management: The organization's debt schedule is overseen and managed, ensuring all obligations are met on time.
  • Global Coordination: Collaboration takes place with global counterparts and banks to reconcile and record activities, ensuring accurate and timely wire payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Bank reconciliations are performed, and account records are maintained.
  • Collaboration: Collaboration occurs with the Finance and Operations teams to gather data for cash forecasting and to facilitate banking transactions and approvals.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced computer software skills, particularly with Excel and Google Sheets, as well as the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately. They will also be able to define and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and increase process efficiencies by working closely with multiple departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for playing a key role in increasing process efficiencies and defining SOPs while ensuring effective communication and coordination with multiple departments.
