The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in automation and control systems, with hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers, remote terminal units, supervisory control and data acquisition systems, piping and instrumentation diagrams, general arrangement drawings, layout drawings, flow meters, pressure sensors, level transmitters, analyzers, actuators, pressure reducing valves, flow control valves, electrical panel integration, cable laying, cable schedules, routing drawings, glanding, termination, loop/input-output testing, configuring, commissioning flow and pressure data loggers, site clearances, sub-contractor coordination, consultant/client coordination, project planning, execution, safety protocols, quality standards, documentation preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Interpret work plans and execute tasks efficiently according to site requirements.
  2. Perform glanding, termination, and loop/input-output testing in the field.
  3. Configure and commission flow and pressure data loggers and other instrumentation equipment.
  4. Provide site clearances to sub-contractors and in-house teams as per the plan.
  5. Organize all necessary facilities for sub-contractors, stakeholders, and in-house execution teams to ensure project targets are met, including installation and commissioning activities.
  6. Coordinate site team, consultants and clients related to ICA activities, and plan and execute all works.
  7. Implement and manage safety protocols to ensure zero injury results. Prioritize safety in all aspects of the job and implement corrective actions and maintain quality standards to avoid rework and ensure project quality.
  8. Communicate project status updates to the reporting officer on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis. Assist the project management team in preparing required documents, reports, as-built drawings, and other necessary documentation.
