Automation Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using industry-leading tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, Protractor, Cypress, and Playwright.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop scalable test automation frameworks (Page Object Model, Behavior-Driven Development with Cucumber, Mocha/Jest) to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
  • Create and optimize SQL and SOQL queries to validate data in relational databases and Salesforce, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to streamline the development process.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and coverage gaps, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Perform functional, regression, cross-browser, and data validation testing to guarantee high-quality software releases.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot automation failures, documenting detailed defects in tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Report on quality metrics and continuously improve automation coverage and reliability, driving excellence in software delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • In-depth knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with database management systems and querying languages (SQL, SOQL).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration with version control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
