Job Overview

We seek a skilled Oracle UIM expert to develop, implement, and manage inventory solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead UIM cartridge development, installation, and configuration.
  • Configure extension points and rule sets for customization.
  • Model logical and physical inventory within UIM cartridges.
  • Integrate UIM with upstream and downstream systems using APIs and web services.
  • Work with Inventory Managers and develop Calculate Technical Actions.
  • Perform code build and deployment for development environments.
  • Troubleshoot base application packages.
  • Maintain technical documentation in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support end-to-end implementations while ensuring on-time delivery.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong expertise in Oracle UIM (7.2.x).
  • Experience in cartridge development, rule set development, and customization.
  • Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and Unix shell scripting.
  • Core technical skills in Java, PL/SQL, and WebServices.
  • Knowledge of network domains such as Wireless, Cable, DSL, and VoIP.
  • Exposure to Enterprise and Retail Voice/Data/GSM implementations.
  • Conceptual modeling knowledge for logical and physical inventory.
  • Familiarity with Oracle RODOD/RSDOD and TMF/eTOM standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
  • Quick learner with an aptitude for mastering new products and solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications.
