SAP HANA Finance Data Analyst is a crucial role at S P A Enterprise where you will be responsible for migrating financial data from legacy Oracle Finance systems to SAP HANA Finance.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial data models, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR). Hands-on experience with data mapping, ETL processes, and tools like Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory is also essential.

As a Strategic Finance Data Migration Expert, you will analyze and document legacy Oracle Finance data structures, identifying key financial entities, hierarchies, and relationships. You will map Oracle Finance data to corresponding SAP HANA Finance data sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document legacy Oracle Finance data structures, identifying key financial entities, hierarchies, and relationships.
  • Map Oracle Finance data to corresponding SAP HANA Finance data sources within Microsoft Fabric, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the Onsite Data Modernization Architect and Offshore Data Engineer to align data mappings with the target Fabric architecture.
  • Validate migrated financial data in Microsoft Fabric, ensuring consistency with SAP HANA sources and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data mapping documentation, including transformation rules and reconciliation processes.
  • Work with the Offshore Test Lead to design test cases for financial data validation and support Power BI reporting requirements.
  • Proactively identify data discrepancies or mapping challenges, proposing solutions to minimize risks during the migration.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, data analytics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on SAP HANA Finance and Oracle Finance systems.
  • Strong understanding of financial data models (e.g., GL, AP, AR) and their implementation in SAP HANA and Oracle.
  • Hands-on experience with data mapping, ETL processes, and tools like Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge for querying and validating financial datasets.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and visualization of financial data is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a customer-centric mindset, focusing on value delivery and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in an onsite/offshore environment.
