The role of a Software Quality Assurance Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the highest quality standards are met for software solutions.

We seek an experienced QA professional to contribute to the development of top-notch products.

  • Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of system specifications to identify test requirements and craft detailed test cases/scripts.
  • Develop and sustain repositories of functional test cases and supplementary test artifacts, including test data, validation procedures, and automated scripts.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to devise comprehensive test plans.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases with precision and systematically report outcomes.
  • Identify, document, and communicate bugs and errors to development teams in a timely manner.
  • Maintain logs to track testing phases—functional, end-to-end, and regression—and defects.

This role requires working on Guidewire solutions in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Policy lifecycle, necessitating strong experience in Rating & Forms for US General Liability lines.

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Quality Assurance tester is required.
  • Proficiency in QA methodology and hands-on testing experience within the insurance industry is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience with testing UI, web services, batch-based integrations, and web portals is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in VB Script, XML, SQL, or related programming languages is necessary.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Test Planning and Execution: Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of system specifications to identify test requirements and craft detailed test cases/scripts.
