Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and drive data-driven decision making.

About the Role
  • Data Modeling and Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable data models using tools like dbt (Data Build Tool).
  • Data Ingestion and Transformation: Collaborate with data engineers to ingest and transform data from various sources.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation across all datasets.
  • Insights and Reporting: Work closely with analysts and business teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Pipeline Integrity: Implement and maintain data testing frameworks to validate pipeline integrity.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize SQL queries and data transformations for performance and scalability.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Maintain version control and CI/CD pipelines for analytics codebases.
  • Pipeline Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and models in production.
Requirements
  • Data Analysis and BI Tools: Proficient data analysts who can analyze data & develop reports using Looker, Domo tools.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI development.
  • Technical Skills: Strong skills in SQL and experience with dbt or similar data modeling tools.
  • Cloud Data Warehousing: Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Data Warehousing Concepts: Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Git and CI/CD: Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
