Job Title:

Java Support Specialist - Production Operations

  • Responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of Java-based production systems.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer-reported problems.
  • Participate in daily meetings to update the development team on ongoing issues and their resolutions.
  • Own complex technical issues with clear expectations and timelines.
  • Develop tools and techniques to aid in Root Cause Analysis using available data and code base knowledge.
  • Reduce time-to-resolve product issues by addressing them promptly after RCA.
  • Provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Product management to identify and implement backlog requirements that add value to the product.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years' experience in technical support, preferably in escalations
  • Experience as L3 escalation engineer handling complex customer issues
  • Proficiency in Java technologies
  • Familiarity with MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts
  • Understanding of Microservice architecture environments on AWS
  • Experience troubleshooting and assisting with root cause analysis for customer-support-issued issues
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
