Job Role: University Relations Specialist

Overview

As a University Relations Specialist at Newgen Software Technologies, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with top engineering and business schools in India. Your primary goal will be to position Newgen as the employer of choice for top tech and management graduates.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement strategies to create a positive brand image on campus, including organizing events, creating engaging content, and fostering relationships with university stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the business leaders to ensure alignment of business strategy and broader talent vision.
  • Drive initiatives to ensure Newgen is perceived as an attractive employer, including talent landscaping, branding initiatives, and online and offline campaigns.
  • Plan and execute branding events on campus, such as orientations, open houses, and special events.
  • Develop and manage content for company's digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email newsletters.
  • Represent the brand at campus events and activities to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of university relationships across a diverse stakeholder audience, including professors and student groups.
  • Develop, implement, and execute on-campus events, including info sessions, tech talks, executive and faculty visits, hackathons, and events with student organizations.
  • Present data and share insights, outcomes, and current state on talent landscape.
  • Leverage social media and other platforms to connect with millennials.
  • Analyze trends and translate them into next steps to meet desired outcomes.
  • Work with local stakeholders to design and implement a plan of engagement and branding, including creating posters, brochures, and other materials.
  • Manage internal data and metrics to report to key stakeholders.


Requirements


  • MBA from a reputed institute, with minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience in a similar role.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational, execution, and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with ability to interact with all levels of employees.
  • Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent team skills and ability to manage stressful situations.
