About the Role


This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the Cloud Native architecture vision, methodology, and development process to bring innovation to SAP's S/4HANA customers in the cloud stack.


You will work closely with our global architects and senior tech stack stakeholders to design and build Cloud Native solutions on SAP BTP, leveraging open-source technologies like React, Angular, and Node, and integrating with services from hyperscalers AWS, GCP, and Azure.


An important aspect of the role involves working with customers to help them improve their business processes through innovation, ensuring they adhere to SAP's customer commitment policy.


Agility, evaluating new and upcoming technologies across any stack, and implementing them to help build products is a key focus area for this role.


You will be at the fusion of business and technology, with a high level of hands-on experience along with architectural work.


About You



  • You will possess deep technical skills in software architecture and cloud computing, as well as strong written and public communication skills.
  • Strong Design & Architecture skills, with experience in the overall architecture of software applications for products and solutions.
  • 10+ years of experience with native cloud backend and frontend development technologies, node.js, springboot, Spring Cloud, Angular, and more.
  • Expertise in cloud-native architecture and development, including microservices, event-driven, and CQRS architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP processes and experience in enterprise software development would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in designing/architecting horizontally scalable, multi-tenant web applications, within a large-scale service-oriented architecture, delivered in a SaaS (software as a service).
  • SaaS Architectural knowledge gained from experience.
  • Sound experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Good Knowledge of BTP and various services.
  • Understanding of core security concepts of BTP.
  • Develop and deploy applications on Docker containers.
  • Detail understanding of cloud foundry architecture and development methodology.
  • Implementing Agile practices and methodologies in software development.
  • Utilizing expert knowledge of full-stack cloud-native technologies, including cloud-based development with SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Azure, AWS, and more.
  • Working with DevOps methodologies and tools to establish and execute a flawless development process, pipelines.
  • Collaborating with all development process contributors, including Product Managers, Architects, Project Management, Scrum Masters, Developers, User Assistance Developers, and DevOps to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Develop expertise on Product Standards like Security and Performance, and incorporate them into the design.
  • SAP Full stack experience with S/4HANA implementations or extensions/integrations with BTP.
  • Understanding/Knowledge of S/4HANA concepts, RAP & ABAP frameworks, oDATA.
