Job Description:

As a Senior Biomedical Engineer, you will lead the development of medical devices and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, safety requirements, and usability guidelines. This includes creating detailed specifications, conducting feasibility studies, and overseeing prototype fabrication and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire product development lifecycle, including setting project milestones, allocating resources, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of medical devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including physicians, nurses, scientists, and other engineers, to understand their requirements and incorporate their feedback into the design process.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

You should have a strong foundation in biomedical engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field is required, along with extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in biomedical engineering, medical device development, or a related field.
