Job Overview

Audit Manager for Residential Real Estate, leading audits in the Affordable Housing sector with a focus on LIHTC and HUD-funded projects ensuring compliance with US GAAP and regulations.

This role requires expertise in reviewing financial statements, audit workpapers, and compliance reports in accordance with LIHTC regulations and IRS Section 42.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead audits to ensure compliance with regulations and deliver high-quality audit services.
  • Drive client engagements and provide strategic guidance on compliance monitoring and risk mitigation.
  • Mentor audit staff on LIHTC/HUD-specific audit procedures.
Requirements:
  • CPA or CA certification is required for this role.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on affordable housing or LIHTC engagements.
  • In-depth knowledge of affordable housing regulations and HUD audit protocols is essential.
