Financial Motion Designer

We're seeking a skilled Financial Motion Designer to create engaging visual experiences that showcase our financial technology solutions.

About the Role:
  • Develop strategic concepts and storyboards that translate complex financial technology concepts into clear, compelling visual narratives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design motion graphics, kinetic typography, and UI animations that demonstrate financial product workflows
  • Create short product demos (15-90s) that highlight feature functionality in a B2B SaaS context
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Concept Development & Storyboarding
    • Work with Product Marketing, Content, Product, and Sales teams to develop concepts that align with user needs and business objectives
    • Create storyboards that communicate financial technology concepts effectively
    • Present and justify your visual approaches to stakeholders
  • SaaS-Focused Motion Design & Animation
    • Produce polished 2D/2.5D motion graphics, kinetic typography, and UI animations that enhance user understanding of data visualization and complex financial processes
    • Develop animations that support rather than distract from core functionality
  • UI/UX Motion Systems
    • Develop consistent animation systems, templates, and design tokens that improve the product user experience
    • Create micro-interactions that provide visual feedback in the interface
  • Brand Consistency & Evolution
    • Ensure all animations adhere to brand guidelines while evolving our motion language
    • Create animations that convey precision, security, and reliability
  • Technical Implementation & Handoff
    • Work effectively with product designers and engineers to implement animations in web and mobile applications
    • Provide Lottie/JSON exports with proper documentation
  • Asset Optimization & Management
    • Deliver properly sized and optimized files for various platforms
    • Maintain an accessible library of motion assets, source files, and templates
  • Project Management & Iteration
    • Manage multiple concurrent projects with different stakeholders and timelines
    • Analyze asset performance metrics to continuously improve engagement and conversion
