Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute testing strategies for automotive software modules to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Review, monitor, and report the status and progress of software testing activities (unit testing, integration testing, qualification testing).
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
  • Ensure compliance with software testing standards as per ASPICE process and FuSa ISO-26262.
  • Share best practices and define common practices across various projects/teams.
  • Participate in review for test plans/test specifications/test cases to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage the defect lifecycle including identification, tracking, and resolution of defects.
  • Coordinate with global cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members.

Background & Skills

  • 10+ years strong experience in manual testing and automated testing using HIL.
  • Expertise in test metrics and reporting to provide clear insights into testing progress.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in test and defect management ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Experience and good understanding of Project management processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry, its testing requirements and processes like ASPICE and FuSa ISO 26262.
  • Display strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams seamlessly.
  • Awareness/experience with automotive cyber security standards will be an additional advantage.
