Software Development Engineer in Test

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing and building scalable automation frameworks, integrating them with CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring end-to-end automation coverage for UI, API, and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, and REST Assured.
  • Test Automation Libraries: Build and implement scalable, reusable test automation libraries and utilities.
  • Testing Services: Automate testing for web, API, and backend services.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
  • Code Review: Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of automation scripts.
  • Test Coverage: Ensure test coverage, maintain test documentation, and provide automation strategy input.
  • Mentorship: Drive best practices in test automation across the team and mentor junior QA engineers on automation and coding practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Coding Experience: Strong coding experience in Java (mandatory).
  • Automation Framework Design: Expertise in automation framework design and development.
  • Tools and Technologies: Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, REST Assured, Postman, Swagger, SQL, and database validation.
  • CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Agile Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban).
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Performance Testing: Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
  • Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Docker and Kubernetes: Hands-on with Docker/Kubernetes for test environments.
  • BDD Frameworks: Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
