Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams in designing, developing, and validating medical device systems and products, from initial concept to market release.
  • Oversee investigations and evaluations of existing technologies, collaborating with other units to drive innovation.
  • Develop new concepts, manage product teams, and ensure timely delivery of system designs for characterization, verification, and validation testing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation throughout all phases of development, ensuring efficient operation of the function.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to enhance team performance and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize systems verification and validation processes.

We seek an experienced leader who has:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree with at least 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional engineering technical teams of 20 or more.
  • Blend of people management and technical expertise.
  • Deep understanding of embedded and application software development processes (Agile, waterfall methodology) and establishing metrics & recommended processes for the team.
