Senior Applications Developer Position

This is a challenging role that involves contributing to the creation and implementation of innovative application systems and programs.

As a senior applications developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and defining necessary system enhancements by utilizing your knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts.
  • Consulting with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommending programming solutions.
  • Applying fundamental knowledge of programming languages to design specifications and analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues.
  • Providing guidance and coaching to new or lower-level analysts and resolving issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry.
  • Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
