Job Description

As a seasoned data professional, you will play a pivotal role in leading multiple data engagements on cloud-based platforms for data lakes, engineering, migration, warehouse, and business intelligence.

  • Design and develop distributed systems for high-volume multi-thread batch, real-time, and event processing.
  • Implement robust processes to validate data, monitor quality, and ensure production accuracy for key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the pre-sales team on RFPs and RFIs to create innovative solutions for data-driven initiatives.
  • Mentor young talent within the team, defining and tracking their growth parameters.
  • Contribute to building assets and accelerators that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • At least 8 years of experience in technical, solutioning, and analytical roles.
  • 5+ years of experience in building and managing data lakes, warehouses, integration, migration, and business intelligence/artificial intelligence solutions on cloud-based platforms.
  • Ability to understand business requirements, translate them into functional and non-functional areas, and define boundaries in terms of availability, scalability, performance, security, and resilience.
  • Experience in architecting, designing, and implementing end-to-end data pipelines and integration solutions for varied structured and unstructured data sources and targets.
  • Proficiency in various data integration and ETL technologies, including Spark, Pyspark/Scala, Dataflow, DataProc, EMR, and traditional tools like Informatica/DataStage/OWB/Talend.
  • Deep knowledge of one or more cloud and on-premise databases, such as Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Big Table, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Oracle, Teradata, MySQL, DB2, SQL Server, etc.
  • Exposure to No-SQL databases like MongoDB, CouchDB, Cassandra, GraphDB, etc.
  • Experience in designing scalable data warehouse solutions on cloud-based platforms using Big Query or Redshift.
  • Preferred experience working with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
  • Good understanding of cloud solutions for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containers, and microservices architecture and design.
  • Ability to compare products and tools across technology stacks on Google, AWS, and Azure cloud environments.
  • Good understanding of BI reporting and dashboarding, along with associated toolsets like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, SAP BO, Cognos, Superset, etc.
  • Understanding of security features and policies in one or more cloud environments, including GCP/AWS/Azure.
  • More than 10 years of experience in technical, solutioning, and analytical roles.
  • Ability to work on complex projects involving distributed computing and enterprise environments like Hadoop, Cloud/Azure cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and articulation skills.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
