BTP Consultant Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a technical expert who can work independently and be assigned to project implementation involving complex project delivery.

The ideal candidate must have past or existing project delivery experience and be able to work in a team during the implementation phases.

Responsibilities:
  • As a BTP consultant, you will work with cross-functional teams, IT development teams, and business users at the consulting level.
  • You will design, configure, develop, and customize using SAP BTP; strive for top-quality results and continuously look for ways to standardize, improve, and enhance system reliability, performance, and security.
  • You will work closely with SAP technical consultants to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality; set team target delivery dates and ensure on-time delivery.
  • You will monitor and identify business risks, inefficiencies, issues, and opportunities related to technical aspects of implementation.
  • You will manage complex developments by yourself or guide the respective developer to achieve delivery.
  • You will train and transfer knowledge to other team members.
  • You will recognize impacts of changes and ensure appropriate due diligence is performed before making changes and be thorough in testing solutions before implementing to avoid reworks.
  • You will be responsible for technical design solution prior implementation of projects or change requests.
  • You will be responsible for technical implementation quality and ensuring quality to minimum rework after deployment.
Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate must have over 4-5 years of SAP BTP working experience with at least 3-4 years of experience in consulting environment.
  • A highly preferred technical developer with hands-on experience in BPA, CAPM, Fiori, UI5.
  • Highly advantageous to have Cloud Application Program Model (CAPM) experience.
  • Strong experience in HANA and/or S4HANA developments.
  • Works with SAP development tools and technologies.
  • Has more than 3-4 years working in a technical team for project delivery.
  • Must have at least 3-4 years in consulting environment as Technical Developer.
  • Have experience in SAP project implementation in S4 HANA.
  • Provide information/advice to team regarding best practices, industry trends, as well as feedback on the overall performance of processes and tools.
  • Keep up to date with latest technologies and tools and evangelize their value within the development teams.
